Song Sung Blue: A Movie Review

Five stars. Go and stream it.

Without giving away too much of the plot, the movie is about the life of two, Neil Diamond cover artists – Mike and Claire Sardina. It is, in fact, a beautiful story. Beautifully written. Brilliantly acted. Masterfully told.

Kate Hudson and Hugh Jackman absolutely nail this. Even if Neil Diamond isn’t your cup of tea, the story is compelling. Why is it so compelling?

This movie is about the power of people to change their corner of the world with their musical talents. No agenda. No political message. Just storytelling at its finest. And I gotta be honest, I think you will really love the music even if you haven’t listened to a lot of Neil Diamond.
