James Carville, a well known Democrat party operative, said the quiet part out loud. It used to just be the elephant in the room, but he said it.
I am extremely transparent on this blog. I am pro-teacher, pro-family, and am also a strong Christian, conservative. I am against over-assessment. I am for teaching critical thinking. I strongly value innovation as long as it doesn’t get weird. I am for citizens controlling their own school systems. I am pro school choice, i.e. pro voucher. I want schools teaching children academics, and parents in control of conversations about matters of social morality. I have fought(and continue to fight) many, many battles to get rid of bad educators and protect good educators despite political affiliation. So, with that said…here we go.
The rigged vote in Virginia yesterday should be a wake-up call for conservatives. Don’t think it was rigged? The “no to gerrymandering” side had the lead until….wait for it…mail-in ballots were counted. Virginia will now be 10:1 for Democrats in the US House despite the gerrymandering vote being nearly 50/50 yesterday. Obama called it a “win for democracy.” It was a win, but not a win for democracy.
James Carville is quoted during the past week as saying…
If the Democrats win both the Presidency and both Houses, I think on day one they should make Puerto Rico and Washington, DC, a state. They should expand the Supreme Court to 13. **** it, eat our dust.” He goes on to say, “Don’t run on it. Don’t talk about it. Just do it.”
In other words, don’t tell the United States public what you are going to do prior to being elected. Implement all of this after you gain office.
Does anyone think single party rule is a good thing?
So, let’s refresh our memories a bit. Here is what Carville doesn’t want to talk about. BUT, we know the rest of this is in their playbook. How do we know this? We have receipts! Look at the Obama and Biden presidencies and even just the last ten years of their actions. Do we want more of this? If you vote Democrat, this is what you are voting for…..
Censorship of conservatives on social media, news platforms, and about any way imaginable
Open borders
Forced school closures
BOEs reporting parents to the FBI for simply disagreeing w/ absurd BOE policies
No Kings protestors using school campuses for their protests(I don’t think any protest group should be within a half mile of a school campus for so many good reasons)
Widespread censorship
Cancel culture
Loss of Charlie Kirk
Mascot replacements
Rioting in the streets by liberal protestors where innocent shop keepers are beaten
Defunding the police
Men in women’s sports
Men in women’s bathrooms
Morally repulsive content presented in public schools which encourages students to question their gender
Covid vaccine mandates
Mask mandates
Yet another impeachment of the President
Using the IRS against conservatives
Intimidation of candidates and voters(Is that happening even locally???)
Packing of the Supreme Court
DC and Puerto Rico named to statehood which would swing the Senate
Loss of property rights (see what is going on in NYC)
Universal Basic Income by scaring the public that AI is going to take their jobs. AI is the new “global warming” panic button.
LGBTQ libraries in elementary schools. Has that happened locally?
Discrimination against people based on the color of their skin w/ bogus DEI initiatives
Redistribution of wealth
Vast curtailing of religious freedoms
Department of Justice and kangaroo courts for any who disagree
There is a reason that people and corporations are fleeing blue states. Taxes are high, and freedom is waning. Blue states are over-regulated and hostile to religious freedom, free markets, and free speech. Blue states have an incredibly high cost of living.
What happened in Virginia will quite possibly swing the House of Representatives next fall. Why does that matter? Every conservative BOE and conservative municipal government in the country will be immediately under assault by a barrage of every, pet liberal agenda item from the last decade if this happens. How do we know this? Look at track record of the Obama and Biden years.
Liberal BOE members, none of whom had any of their own kids in the system, locked down our community schools along party lines during COVID. Conservative politicians lacked the charisma and political agility to open schools in their own, deeply conservative districts. Our own conservative community’s schools were held hostage by three liberals sitting on the BOE who voted to support their own party’s national agenda and not do what was right for kids and their families. Let’s not make that mistake again. Know your candidate and know if they have the intestinal fortitude to do what is right.
Democrat socialism is communism. Let’s just call it what it is. I certainly don’t want more of the above. I can for sure say that I don’t want communism in any form. Communism destroys free markets, freedom of speech, the right to own private property, and the right to move freely. Communism erases individual free choice of any kind. For churches, their fate is even worse. Communism is openly hostile to religion and tolerance of any kind.
The political climate during Obama and Biden was a special kind of crazy town. Do we really want to return to that era of dysfunctional behavior and moral upside downs?
ProTip: The folks who roll their eyes at us when we stand against crazy initiatives by the Left. We don’t need your help. But you can sure bet, you are gonna need ours if Democrats get what they want this Fall.
