Tommorrow, We Have a New Sheriff In Town

I am going to unapologetically take a victory lap tomorrow. I will be as humble as possible. But ya’ll, I am tired of seeing our nation’s history erased and painted over(and Kingsport folks, you all know exactly what logo I am referring to…) as if it never existed. Donald J Trump is going to take the oath of office as President of United States of America. Freedom fighters, this is your day.

Take a minute and thank the Lord for giving us relief from the restrictive and regulative policies of the Biden/Obama Presidential administrations. Our schools had become(or were quickly becoming) indoctrination centers. Ukraine and Russia are in a meat grinder of a conflict where millions of young men are dead or injured. The Middle East has lost stability. Israel, our staunchest ally, has been basically going it alone w/ the United States States Department placing obstacle after obstacle in their way. Their people have been taken hostage. A lasting peace needs to be brokered. China has been flying spy balloons and drones across our country unimpeded. Our armies have been forced to retreat by our own people. Communities in blue states have burned to the ground due to liberal forestry practices and under-funding of fire and police services by Leftist politicians. Our own governmet institutions have moved to the Left. Our judicial system(DOJ) has been weaponized against our own people – conservatives. Our intelligence services are spying on Americans. The world is a better place when the United States of America is strong and leading from the front. Tomorrow, Dodge City is gettin’ a new freaking sheriff, and my hope is that he cleans this place up and restores lost freedoms. Freedoms which we need to have restored are as followed:

1. Freedom of speech, and that means freedom from censorship. Google, Amazon, and Facebook have already begun meeting with incoming President Trump. Facebook said that it wasn’t censoring people. People scoffed when I pointed out that my conservative friends were no longer in my news feed. In a wild turn of events, Zuckerberg admitted being complicit in censorship by promising not to do it anymore. They have fired their “fact checkers.” For once, let’s have a free exchange of ideas where conservatives can voice their side on Facebook unimpeded.
2. School choice. Every American family should have the right to choose to send their children to successful schools which are free from every passing fancy of the Left. If your school system locked American children from their buildings, then you have a right to choose a different system – period. We want school choice established as law so that can NEVER happen again. School choice is the permanent accountability which protects against that abuse from every happening again.
3. A fair judicial system. Quit framing conservatives in order to make them examples.
4. Economic freedom. Grocery store prices are insane. The Biden Administration tried to convince us that the economy was booming. Well, try buying a house, a car, groceries for a growing family, or just a tank of gas. We want men and women in minority communities to have the blessings of a great economy. Let’s quit promising men and women in African American and Hispanic communities that we will improve their circumstances, and then not following through. Instead, let’s provide ALL communities a robust economy which will free them from the burdens of poverty and prejudice. People don’t need entitlements. They need opportunities.
5. Right to life. Unborn children should be safe.
6. Freedom from a burgeoning rule book. To quote the greatest leader I have ever worked for, “We will know a society by the size of its rule book. The bigger the book, the worse things are.”
7. Freedom from invasion. Our borders will be manned and protected.
8. A world at peace. That might not sound like a freedom, but it is. Walk softly and carry a big stick. The Trump Doctrine has brought stability (until a certain coincidental virus was released) when invoked. People should have the right to lay their head on their pillows without the terrors of war keeping them awake at night.

I urge conservatives to govern as if they won the election which they actually just won. Conservatives have a mandate to govern right of center. The American people voted resoundingly to be set us free from the status quo of progressive agenda creep. People are simply fed up with the Communist Left. We have voted for democracy to be restored and for America to once again take the lead of the free world. If you choose to wrongfully rebuke the American people, we are going to vote you out of office – period.

For our generation, this is our moment. We have prayed for this moment. We have worked in our communities to gather votes for this moment. Many of us have lost our churches, lost our jobs, lost friends, and had our reputations falsely called into question. We have been called crazy. We have been called conspiracy theorists. We have been called spiritually bankrupt. We have been called people who lacked tolerance. On the contrary, we just want a nation in which the United States Constitution is respected and upheld. Like Mordecai, we have refused to bow before Haman, no matter what the price. And no matter what we have been called, what we haven’t lacked is backbone. To those of you who have stood on the line to defend freedom and the American way, take some time and savor this moment – you know who you are. I think the Declaration of Independence says it best….

We mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred honor. Some may think that is cheesy. I don’t. Serious times require serious men. Protecting our nation’s freedoms is a sacred pledge and a sacred responsibility. It is the responsibility of all of us to protect our nation’s freedoms. Our nation’s fighting men and women in the military know this all too well. They were placed on mountain tops between Afghanistan and Pakistan. Their job? Stop terrorist from entering Afghanistan. They were the tip of the spear in defense of our freedoms. Their job was to defend the borders of freedom, even if that meant doing it on a remote mountain top a million miles away.

We are sick and tired of American apologists. This nation delivered freedom during WW2 when absolutely nobody could stop Hitler from racing across Europe. Our men ran up those beaches at Normandy, drove those tanks, flew those B17s, sailed those aircraft carriers into battle, and held the frigid lines in Bastogne when nobody else could or would. We need that America in charge again, and a few hours from now, we will have a chance to restore that very ideal – “America The Free” is back in charge.

At noon tomorrow, a new sheriff is in town. Buckle up. Freedom is no longer in retreat. Freedom is on the march.
