Make Orwell Fiction Again. Now that is a catchy quote, and a clever play on the Trump campaign’s famous slogan. I was listening to Elon Musk on a recent Joe Rogan podcast. He turned the phrase during that show. How appropriate given that today is Inauguration Day. Let’s take a look back at the Biden Presidency, and the political misery that was the last four years.
The beginning of the Biden presidency was a full year of shutdowns, mandatory masking, censorship of anyone that dared to speak anything other than the company line, and “trust the science” garbage.
Parents who spoke out against school boards were labeled as terrorists. (I have little doubt these lists were made locally by the way.) This started in Fairfax County when the BOE quit listening to their constituents and made their own Leftist policy. Sure sounds like a local BOE that I know which painted over our logo and is 100% in bed with the “resist Trump” movement as evidenced by coming out against the Trump/Lee school voucher plan. During COVID, uur own BOE in Kingsport limited the time of physicians to speak. Not a single person on that BOE had a medical degree – not one. But they slept at a Holiday Inn Express.
I know many people who questioned the origin of COVID on Facebook. I was roundly shouted down for simply saying this probably came from the lab in Wuhan which was just a few blocks away from the wet market. I was astounded at the number of people who didn’t understand that communist governments were not truthful. Well, it turns out that critical thinking won the day again. It probably 100% came from that lab which specializes in gain of function COVID viruses. Shocking. Jon Stewart famously chastised those who were simply imparting the company line and refusing to think for themselves. This interview on the Colbert Show was brilliant work by Stewart. “The disease is the same name as the lab!”
Women in men’s sports. Again, I am astounded by the number of people who think this is ok. After century of fighting for women to gain the right to vote, own property, go to colleges with their male peers, and finally gaining the right to be their own category in sports….Biden completely wiped this away with barely a whimper from the American people. To be clear, men should not be competing in sports with women.
Mail in ballots. Wow. I have never seen a party take advantage of an epidemic like the Democrat Party did. Never in the history of American elections have so many people voted in a Presidential election, and many voted for the Democrat candidate. Hmm? But let’s not forget that in 2020, the voting stopped with Trump ahead on that infamous election night. When the voting pause ended, and counting began again….Biden “miraculously” took the lead. We just saw this same phenomena occur again in 2024 in Pennsylvania when they tried to steal back the election from the winner who was a Republican. Finally, the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania ordered the counting of illegal ballots to be halted. But in 2020, not a soul could question the election or mail in ballots.
The sanity of Joe Biden. How in the world did a man with dementia get elected President? I want to know this. And I also want to know who in the world was running this country while Biden wondered around aimlessly at multiple events?
We ended up in a second war in Ukraine while the BIden/Harris/Obama team ran our country. Why does that keep happening while Democrats are running the country? Joe Biden’s handlers have quite literally walked us up to the edge of WW3 by allowing the use of American made ATACMS missiles to strike Russian territory.
The hurricane response for those who were hit by Helene. With my own eyes, I saw FEMA shut down an aid center which had aid flowing quickly into flood stricken areas. Volunteers, basic needs, medical supplies….much of it was managed by churches. All of it was consolidated into FEMA. Once that happened, the flow of aid slowed to a trickle. Those churches which had pallets and pallets of supplies…emptied within 48 hours. Good luck finding any media outlet which will cover that honestly.
The blurring of the definition of men and women and the practice of asking students what their pronouns were. I have never seen anything like it. This occurred locally in several schools. Kids in elementary schools were having to think about what gender they were. How is that even a freaking question?????? Thankfully Bill Lee signed into a law effectively ending the pronoun practice. I am thankful for Governor Bill Lee. He worked to end school lockdowns. He ended the bizarre practice of preferred pronouns. He is working to provide Tennessee families the right to choose their own schools. He will be remembered as a great leader and a defender of freedom.
I could go on and on. The American people spoke loudly this past November that this needs to stop. Today at noon, we begin to change the conversation. Today at noon we will try to make Orwell’s 1984 fiction again. Donald Trump, this is your moment.

He echoes the madness that many of us felt during COVID as the government limited our free speech. Jon Stewart isn’t exactly a conservative, but he was one of the few Democrats to dare criticize his own party’s Orwellian tactics. Funny stuff and cuts to the marrow.
