A Blog Post Revisited: Demolishing Strongholds

I have never spoken at a school convocation. It is my understanding that one local convocation got a bit interesting. IYKYK.

Anyway, if I could deliver a message to families in local school systems it would be simply to provide a reminder to all believers in education – parents, students, teachers. In fact, I have already written about this topic here – Demolishing Strongholds. In many ways, the following has become a driving theme in my life, and not by my choice.

We do not wage war as the world does. We follow Jesus. In Jesus, there is no better example of someone who demolished the strongholds of Satan, someone who demolished arguments, and someone who made every thought captive to God. We can only seek to follow His example.

2 Corinthians 10: 3-5

For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

I want to share three short reels by Josh Howerton. All three are about demolishing strongholds. The last one is my favorite.
